Do you think we should have more Bike Paths in Huber Heights?  Are you opposed to the one expected to go in on Chambersburg to Rt 4?  Do you wonder if we could have had a traffic circle instead of a stop light at Chambersburg and Belfountaine?  These kind of inputs are what the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission would be interested in hearing at their Public Participation Meeting to be held Thursday April 16, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at 10 N Ludlow Street Suite 700 Courthouse Square in Dayton.  

 
Subject:          Public Participation Meeting to be Held Regarding Region’s FINAL DRAFT Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
 
The meeting with include a review of the FINAL DRAFT Transportation Improvement Program for State Fiscal Years (SFY) 2016-2019.  The FINAL DRAFT TIP list includes roadway projects, bike/pedestrian projects, bus/transit and other transportation-related projects and services planned for SFY2016-SFY2019 (July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2019). 
 
The TIP is prepared by MVRPC in cooperation with local and state officials, along with other agencies.  It is consistent with the amount of federal and state funding that is expected to be available to the Region and it conforms to the requirements of the Clean Air Act.  Updated every two years and amended as needed, the TIP includes all federal and state surface transportation-funded projects in Greene, Miami and Montgomery Counties and the jurisdictions of Carlisle, Franklin and Springboro in Warren County.
 
If you are unable to attend the meeting, the FINAL DRAFT Transportation Improvement Program will also be available for public review on MVRPC’s web site athttp://www.mvrpc.org/transportation/short-range  on or before Tuesday, March 31, 2015.  You can also review the list at the MVRPC offices, 10 N. Ludlow Street, Suite 700, Dayton, OH, 45402, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).  Written comments will be accepted through Monday, April 27, 2015, at the above address or via e-mail to Paul Arnold, MVRPC’s Manager of Short Range Programs, atparnold@mvrpc.org .
 
At all MVRPC public participation meetings, interpreters for hearing impaired individuals or bi-lingual interpreters are available upon request.   Requests should be made at least one week prior to the meeting date.
