Family Disc Golf Day August 9th

I have been talking about a Disc Golf event since the beginning of the summer with a couple of different concepts. With the help of the Parks and Recreation Board and DDGA this idea of a introductory Family Disc Day emerged. For more information; direct registration or to volunteer to help go to Family Disc Golf Day in Huber Heights.

Last week I took Irvin out to play disc golf for the first time. He liked it enough that we went out again a couple days later and took one of his friends. Our course at Community Park is perfect for family disc golf and it is always free to play the course. Come out to the Huber Heights Family Disc Golf Day on August 9th and get an introduction to the sport from members of the Dayton Disc Golf Association that love to play the game.

Register at the site above the first 50 kids 6 to 14 years old will get a complimentary disc.  Check in will be behind the Studebaker Middle School and after a few introductory skill drills we will play a couple holes on the course at Community Park.  We have room for volunteers.  Check out the volunteer ticket at the registration site above.
