Wednesday July 2 any time between 7:00 to 8:30 am, if you are willing to sit down and talk with me for 5 minutes, I'll buy you a donut and a cup of tea at Tim Hortons Donuts. 
 
Marylin laughs and tells me I'll be lucky if there are four people in all of Huber Heights that want to sit down and talk politics at 7:00 o'clock in the morning.  I do the math in my head and think, "that leaves 8 donuts for me -- perfect!".  So I've set it up with Mark and Bertha the owners of Tim Hortons at 7901 Brandt Pike to let me sit at one of the 3 tables directly to the right as you enter the north side of the shop and talk with anyone willing to discuss TIF districts, city budget, the city income tax levy, Mayoral powers, the Heights, community outreach, Police and Fire Services, or any other city issue. Since I'm looking to keep my svelte figure, I'm hoping Marylin has misjudged the allure of sugar and caffeine in the morning.
 
So you know, the format will be very loose and I won't have a formal presentation.  Just come in, shake my hand and let me know you are interested in the city and you've earned your confectionary reward.  You can sit down and ask a question or sit down and listen to the conversation.  Come and go anytime in the hour and a half.  We will have coffee/tea at the table for you to help yourself and we will make sure you get a donut you can enjoy.
