Purpose and Background
The Finance Department was challenged early on to always look for new ways to better explain how City finances work and to always stay
focused on being transparent. In these efforts, the Finance Department submitted this project, which will be very beneficial to the community to
see and understand the City's finances. This project provides a virtual "online checkbook" which has recently been discussed at the State level,
but also provides for interactive and real-time custom reporting. In other words, if a resident would like to run a report on monthly expenses or
other financial elements, he/she will be able to do so right from the online system
. Huber Heights is proud to be one of the first in the State of Ohio
and the first in the region to open up its finances and make them easily accessible to the public for review.
