The school board and administration have been holding meetings trying to figure out what to do about the school budget shortfall.  This is another event.  It looks like we will find out structure and agenda items when we get there.  Below is the meeting notice copied from the City Schools website.  Again, it wasn't easy to find and does not appear on the calendar or upcoming events.

There was a big turnout at Wayne Thursday evening.  The Board chose to table the school administration's recommendation on $6.3 million of cuts.  The board chose to ask the voters to approve a 9.95 mil propery tax increase. Ms. Gunnell will respond to the State's letter by the Dec 31st deadline.  In that response she will tell the state the school…

The school board decided Mar 7th to take tax levy off the May ballot.  The next school board meeting is on March 21, 2013.  The public will be able to speak on this subject during the public comments part of the meeting.  Read the article in the HH Courier: School Board votes to pull
