2040 Long Range Transportation Plan

Subject:        Public Participation Meetings to be held regarding the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Update. 
Dayton, OH - The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) will hold a series of Public Participation Meetings regarding the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Update as follows: 
 
  • Tuesday, October 20, 2015 
Troy-Miami County Public Library – Multipurpose Room
419 W. Main St., Troy, Ohio  
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Free parking available on site.
 
  • Wednesday, October 21, 2015 
MVRPC Offices – Lake Conference Room
10 North Ludlow St., Suite 700, Courthouse Square, Dayton, Ohio 
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Parking passes for the City Of Dayton’s Municipal Garage will be distributed at the meeting. The parking garage is located at 123 W. Third Street next to Dayton City Hall. There are numerous Greater Dayton RTA transit routes convenient to MVRPC offices on Courthouse Square including Wright Stop Plaza.

The 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan is a 25 year plan and capital improvement program developed to guide the effective investment of public funds in multi-modal transportation facilities. The plan is updated every four years and is prepared by MVRPC in cooperation with local and state officials, and other agencies.
 
MVRPC staff will be on hand to review the DRAFT list of transportation priorities and accept comments/input regarding transportation issues. This is an opportunity for the general public to have a say in the future of transportation in the Miami Valley.
 
If you are unable to attend, information on the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan Update will also be available for public review on MVRPC’s website at plan2040.mvrpc.org on or before October 19, 2015, and at the MVRPC offices, 10 North Ludlow St., Suite 700, Dayton, OH, 45402, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). 
 
At all MVRPC public participation meetings, interpreters for hearing impaired individuals or bi-lingual interpreters are available upon request. Requests should be made at least one week prior to the meeting date.
